Career Study Program at M.C. Weeks Inc.
In May 2019, M.C. Weeks, Inc. hosted a Career Study Experience for a Perkiomen Valley High School senior who was aspiring to achieve a successful career in Interior Design. The student followed our professional team on a daily routine in the showroom and out in the field. The experience taught her about good customer service, designing and planning projects, how to close sales and to maintain loyal and satisfied customers.
Mentoring College Intern at M.C. Weeks Inc.
IN 2018, We were pleased to host an Ursinus College student intern who has been pursuing a bachelor’s degree on business and psychology. She very quickly became part of our M.C. Weeks, Inc. family and began learning about our products, marketing, sales, custom service, product installations, and print and social media marketing. When the mentoring program ended, our intern stayed on board assisting us part-time until her graduation
Our Recent Donations Include:
Habitat for Humanity chester County
We had the opportunity to participate in the second “Women Build” house in Chester County that was built completely by women volunteering their time and craftsmanship. We donated, measured and installed a Nantucket Window Shadings blind for every window in the house. This project was near and dear to our heart as a woman owned business.
Community Music School
We have supported the Community Music School in Trappe for years as a Patron and as a Corporate Sponsor by helping to promote both music and the visual arts in our community.
Kid’s Day America-International
Helping kids succeed is something we feel passionate about. Kids Day America is a special day dedicated to children’s health, safety and environmental awareness. Our donations and sponsorship help underprivileged children right in our own community.
Mommy’s Light
Mommy’s Light is a charitable organization sponsored by Ursinus College that provides a multitude of services to children whose mothers are terminally ill or deceased. Our donations support an organization that brings joy and comfort to children and teens by helping them preserve traditions and simple pleasures they shared with their mothers.
